“Christmas at Our House” — Christmas Concert 2005
During this year’s Christmas concert, the Sisters invited the audience to share a glimpse of how they spend the weeks before Christmas in the convent. Here one of the Sisters lights the Advent wreath while the choir sings “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.”
The feast of St. Nicholas is one of the highlights of the Advent season. St. Nicholas appeared on the stage early in the concert and distributed candy to the children.
Girls perform a Mexican dance during the hymn to Our Lady of Guadalupe, whose feast is on December 12.
Two Sisters light candles on either side of the Infant Jesus while the choirs sings behind them.
A child dressed as an angel kisses the statue of the Infant Jesus.
The Singing Nuns kneel around the manger as they sing “Silent Night.”
